Trip had his pediatric urologist appointment this afternoon to check on his hydrocele. Just as we suspected, they just want us to keep an eye on it for a while. If it suddenly gets larger, call immediately (as in during business hours, not ER-worthy). If he still has it when he turns a year old then we'll need to follow up with the urologist. More than likely it will resolve itself by his first birthday.
Trip seemed to like the doctor. He even gave him one of his not-very-common smiles. Wow!
The news that really pleased me is that, according to their measurements, he's now in the 25th percentile. Up from the 9th a month ago! Yay! I credit this to switching the boys to a two hour schedule. Trip now eats 3-4 ounces every two hours during the day and a 5 ounce bottle at night. Jack eats 2-4 ounces every two hours with a 5 ounce bottle at night. My boys are growing so fast!
